Sazerac Company
Privately held spirits conglomerate founded in New Orleans in 1869, now one of the two largest spirits companies in the US by volume. Principal offices are in Louisville, KY. Owns and operates Buffalo Trace Distillery along with dozens of other distilleries and approximately 300 brands. The Goldring family controls the company. Known for refusing to disclose its bourbon mash bills, creating significant mystery around its product lines.
