Kings County Distillery (independent)

Independent craft distillery founded in 2010 in New York City by Colin Spoelman and David Haskell. Began in East Williamsburg as the smallest commercial distillery in the US, moved to the Brooklyn Navy Yard in 2012. The first distillery in New York City since Prohibition. Known for sourcing certified organic New York State corn and English malted barley, and for double-pot distilling in a style more influenced by Scotch whisky practice than Kentucky bourbon.
