Kentucky Peerless Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Kentucky Peerless' barrel proof bourbon, released in 2019 after a minimum 4-year aging period. Sweet mash fermented (no sour mash backset), non-chill filtered, and bottled at barrel proof. Every step from grain to bottle occurs at the Louisville distillery. The use of sweet mash produces a brighter, more grain-forward flavor profile compared to sour mash bourbons. Each batch varies slightly in proof, adding uniqueness.
