Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. (independent)
Family-owned distillery revived by Corky Taylor and his son Carson Taylor in 2015, resurrecting the Peerless whiskey brand that was originally created in 1889 by Henry Kraver in Henderson, Kentucky. The original Peerless was one of the most popular bourbons of its era before Prohibition shut it down. Everything from milling to bottling happens under one roof at 120 N. 10th Street in Louisville. Known for sweet mash fermentation, non-chill filtration, and barrel proof bottling.
