What's Unique

Located in the tiny town of Kirby (population ~80) in the Big Horn Basin. The Mead family's Wyoming ranching roots date back to 1890. All grains — non-GMO corn, winter wheat, barley, and winter rye — are sourced from within 100 miles of the distillery. Former Maker's Mark master distiller Steve Nally was enlisted in 2007 to establish the production program and stayed until 2014. Wyoming's high elevation and temperature extremes (cold winters, hot summers) create a faster-than-average maturation cycle. The first legal distillery in Wyoming.
