Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. (Town Branch)

The distillery sits above the historic Town Branch creek that gave the bourbon its name and the city of Lexington much of its original water supply. Founded as the first new distillery in Lexington in over 100 years when it opened in 2012. Unique for operating as both a craft brewery (Kentucky Ale) and a distillery simultaneously under one roof, leveraging Alltech's fermentation science expertise. The glass-fronted fermentation room with large cypress wood fermenters is a signature feature.
