Michter's US*1 Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye

Michter's single barrel rye whiskey, produced at the same low 103 proof barrel entry as their bourbon. The rye is aged in toasted-then-charred new American oak barrels and bottled as a single barrel expression. Known for being exceptionally smooth for a rye, with notes of cinnamon, clove, and dark fruit. The low entry proof and toast/char treatment create a rye that is approachable without sacrificing the grain's characteristic spice.
