Rabbit Hole Distillery

A striking modern distillery building in Louisville's NuLu neighborhood, designed by award-winning architect De Leon & Primmer Architecture Workshop with a glass-walled stillhouse visible from the street. Founded by Kaveh Zamanian, a psychologist-turned-distiller who began developing unconventional multi-grain mashbills in 2012. The distillery is notable for using malted wheat, honey malted barley, and 100% malted rye in its recipes — departing significantly from the standard corn/rye/barley or corn/wheat/barley templates used by most Kentucky producers.
