Michter's Fort Nelson Distillery

Michter's visitor-facing distillery and brand home on Louisville's historic Whiskey Row. Opened in 2019 in the restored Fort Nelson Building, a landmark dating to the late 1800s. The facility includes a working small-scale distillery, tasting rooms, and an immersive tour experience. While the Fort Nelson location distills small batches, the majority of Michter's production takes place at the Shively facility. The building underwent an extensive multi-year restoration that preserved its original architectural character while creating a world-class whiskey experience.
