Family distilling heritage dating to 1795 when Jacob Beam first sold barrels of corn whiskey. Eight generations of Beam family distillers shaped the brand. The current Clermont facility produces nearly half of the world's bourbon. Uses a proprietary yeast strain passed down through the Beam family for generations. Also operates a second major distillery in Boston, KY. The campus is a major Kentucky Bourbon Trail destination.
