What Makes This Different

The lightest member of the Beam Small Batch Collection at 80 proof, using the Old Grand-Dad high-rye mashbill (63/27/10). Named for Meredith Basil Hayden Sr., a Catholic distiller who settled in Kentucky in 1796 bringing Maryland-style rye-heavy recipes. The high rye content provides notable spice at a gentle proof.
