Angel's Envy Distillery (Louisville Distilling Co.)

Downtown Louisville's first full-production whiskey distillery, opened in 2016. The brand was co-founded in 2010 by Lincoln Henderson, a legendary master distiller who spent 40 years at Brown-Forman before retiring and creating Angel's Envy with his son Wes Henderson. Angel's Envy pioneered the technique of finishing bourbon in port wine barrels, producing a smooth, rich, fruit-forward whiskey that became an industry-wide trend. Bacardi acquired the brand in 2015. The distillery underwent an $8.2 million expansion in 2022. Lincoln Henderson passed away in 2013, and Wes Henderson continues as Chief Innovation Officer.
