Nelson's Green Brier Distillery (independent)

Revived by brothers Andy and Charlie Nelson in 2006 after discovering their family's distilling legacy. The original Nelson's Green Brier Distillery was one of the largest in the country in the late 1800s, operating from 1860 until Tennessee enacted statewide Prohibition in 1909. The Nelson brothers tracked down their family history through old tax records and rebuilt the brand, initially sourcing whiskey before opening their own Nashville distillery in 2014. Produces Belle Meade Bourbon and Nelson's Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey.
