Green River Distilling Company (Bardstown Bourbon Company)

Historic distillery originally founded in 1885 in Owensboro, Kentucky, making it one of the oldest registered distilleries in the state. The brand endured a long period of inactivity before being revived. In 2022, Bardstown Bourbon Company acquired Green River Distilling, adding a second production facility to its portfolio. The original Green River bourbon was once the official whiskey of the U.S. Navy. Green River is now fully operational with its own production and aging facilities in Owensboro.
