Frey Ranch Distillery (independent)

One of the few true estate distilleries in the world, growing 100% of its whiskey grains on-site at a working farm in Fallon, Nevada. The Frey family has been farming in Fallon since 1854. Fifth-generation Nevadans Colby and Ashley Frey opened the distillery in 2006. The estate-grown approach means the distillery controls every variable from seed to bottle, including corn, wheat, rye, and barley, all grown on Nevada desert-irrigated farmland fed by snowmelt from the Sierra Nevada mountains.
