Garrison Brothers Small Batch Texas Straight Bourbon

The first legal bourbon made in Texas and the first to be released by Garrison Brothers. Uses a Texas-sourced mashbill with white corn, soft red winter wheat, and Canadian malted barley. Aged in the extreme Texas Hill Country climate where summer temperatures can top 110°F — causing faster extraction and higher angel's share (up to 20% per year vs. ~4% in Kentucky). This accelerated maturation in smaller barrels produces a bourbon with more oak influence at a younger age than comparable Kentucky expressions. Released at 94 proof, minimum 3 years.
