Jeptha Creed Distillery

A true ground-to-glass craft distillery on 64 acres of farmland in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Led by the mother-daughter team of Joyce and Autumn Nethery, Jeptha Creed grows its own Bloody Butcher heirloom red corn on the property -- a distinctive variety with red kernels that imparts a unique flavor profile different from standard yellow dent corn. Distilled the first post-Prohibition barrel of bourbon in Shelby County in 2016. Autumn Nethery, who studied chemical engineering at the University of Louisville, serves as master distiller. The distillery is a Kentucky Bourbon Trail member and offers tours showcasing the full grain-to-glass process.
