Family-owned and operated distillery in Bardstown, KY, with roots tracing to the Willett family's distilling heritage beginning in the late 1800s. Thompson Willett formally founded the Willett Distilling Company in 1936, producing its first batch on March 17, 1937. The distillery is now run by the Kulsveen family (Even Kulsveen married into the Willett family). Known for its iconic copper pot still and for being one of the few Kentucky distilleries to use pot stills. Produces six distinct mash bills (four bourbon, two rye). Also known for sourcing and bottling exceptional aged whiskey under the Willett Family Estate label.
