Wild Turkey enters the barrel at 110 proof, lower than the industry standard 125, and uses a higher rye percentage, both choices that produce a more robust, full-flavored spirit. Uses an alligator char (Level 4+) on the barrel interior — the deepest char available — which imparts strong caramel and vanilla. Eddie Russell has served as master distiller alongside his father Jimmy since 2015, making them the longest father-son distilling team.
