Rebel 100 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

A wheated bourbon at 100 proof, produced at the Lux Row Distillery in Bardstown, KY (opened 2018). Descends from the Rebel Yell brand that dates to 1849 and was produced at Stitzel-Weller until that distillery closed. The wheated mashbill (68/20/12 corn/wheat/barley) is similar to the old Stitzel-Weller recipes. The move to Lux Row's own distillery in 2018 marked a return to in-house production after decades of sourcing. A value wheated option at 100 proof — a proof point that adds body and heat relative to the standard 80 or 90 proof.
