Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon

Named for Reverend Elijah Craig, a Baptist minister credited in some accounts as the inventor of charred barrel aging in Bourbon County, KY (historians debate this claim). Heaven Hill's flagship premium bourbon, known for its value-to-quality ratio. The 12-year age statement was removed in 2016 due to stock constraints, replaced by an NAS Small Batch (estimated 8–12 year barrels). Still uses the same high-malted-barley mashbill and same Heaven Hill yeast. A perennial value pick among serious bourbon drinkers.
